 MOORCROFTA William Moorcroft small bowl in the fish design, produced in the early 1930's. In the centre of the piece is a stunning fish in blue and green, on a background of matt, cream glaze. On the underside of the bowl is the blue flash signature of William Moorcroft, and also impressed on the underside is, "MADE IN ENGLAND, MOORCROFT, POTTER TO H.M. THE QUEEN".  CLARICE CLIFFA Clarice Cliff, My Garden Jug produced between 1935 and 1939, and part of the "Bizarre" range of patterns. It has a stylised foxglove handle with accompanying foliage in bright colours. The background shade of the jug is "My Garden Mushroom Shade", with a matte mushroom-coloured glaze. The backstanp on the underside of the dish is "Clarice Cliif, WILKINSON LTD, ENGLAND". Its height is 9.25 inches; the diameter at the base is 5 inches; and the diameter at the base is 5.6 inches. The following marks are impressed in green on the base; "MOORCROFT, MADE IN ENGLAND". It also has the diamond mark impressed to the base, which is the mark for 1993 as the year of production.  MOORCROFTA Moorcroft Plate with the beautiful Torridon Pattern designed by Philip Gibson. The design is based on the bird "The Great Northern Diver, or North American Loon", which can be found in Torridon flapping its small wings ferociously to fly. It uses them to communicate its location and to dive for trout in the Torridon's shallow waters. Torridon is a special design by Philip Gibson of Moorcroftas part of his PHILIP GIBSON presents range, produced for just one year and has now been withdrawn.
